Once in the city you can go to the Xinshiqiao pier, in the south-west area of ​​the center, and embark on an breathtaking cruise on the Grand Canal. You will discover the most important artificial river in the world and admire the historical evidence preserved of this beautiful stretch of land. At the end of this pleasant and relaxing activity you can discover the places that make this city famous. For beauty and uniqueness, the traditional gardens of Suzhou are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Visiting the Master of Nets Garden, you will discover the eternal charm of a small but well preserved place. At the end of the visit, we suggest moving north. A rickshaw ride through the streets of Suzhou will be the ideal way to discover the charm and life of the old town, thus reaching your next destination. The next stop will be Humble Administrator's Garden. The most famous and spectacular among the Suzhou gardens. At the end of this intense and engaging morning, it will be time for a well-deserved break for lunch. Our itinerary still includes many discoveries and wonderful sceneries. Time to get back on the road, to reach the second destination of the day. The quaint town of Tongli is just a 30 minute drive from Suzhou. We suggest starting the route from the south entrance to the scenic area, from Zhongchuan North Street.You will immediately notice the great charm of ancient stone bridges.On the left you can see and capture the unique lines of the Sibenqiao Bridge. The jutting trees create an extremely cozy and suffused atmosphere.At the end of the street, in the heart of the ancient city, there are the famous Three Bridges. Heading north you can reach the wondrous Wang Residence, reservoir of ancient stories and legends. Once the visit is complete, you can head south, reaching Zhongchuan North.In the square there is access to the Tuisi Garden, the last garden of the day.The most famous attraction of Tongli,it guards the most beautiful garden of this water town.The site is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list along with the Suzhou Traditional Gardens. You can conclude the itinerary by walking and wandering through the ancient Mingqing street.This is the ideal place to discover the local craft traditions and find unique souvenirs.
